The seventh fragrance released in Papillon’s seventh year, on the seventh day of the seventh month. In ancient Egypt, the number 7 was considered the number of the Gods, and it is these deep esoteric connections that thread together the inspiration and composition for Spell 125. Everything about this perfume is entwined with magic, history and ancient mystery. Our perfumer loved the cyclical nature of creating Spell 125; she began the Papillon collection with Anubis, a perfume inspired by ancient Egypt, and here she revisits this source and closes the circle from her first perfume to this, the seventh.

Begin with clean, moisturised skin to help the fragrance linger.

Apply to the pulse points: the wrists, neck, behind the ears, places where the blood stirs just beneath the skin, warming the scent and releasing its story.

One or two sprays are all that’s needed. A soft dab, if using extrait. Let it settle naturally - do not rub, as this disturbs the composition and bruises the unfolding of the notes.

For a lighter presence, mist the air and walk through, a veil of scent, barely spoken.

Store away from sunlight and heat, as you would something rare and precious. Let the perfume become part of your presence, discovered, never declared.
